History

         The history of Siam Thai starts with our great grandmother, with her passion and experience learned from her mother, built her own restaurant that was well known in the local community. Opening its doors for the first time in Chiang Rai City, Northern Thailand in 1955; Siam Thai offers traditional Thai recipes that have been used for four generations. We bring to you those same dishes in our new hometown of Pensacola, Florida.
           Open since 2001, people have come for the traditional cuisine that has been voted for one of the best 100 Thai restaurants in the U.S. by bestthaifood.com in 2007 and the winner of Best of the Bay from Pensacola News Journal.
           With a specialty buffet and diverse menu that has Thai staples such as Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice and Green Curry you'll find there is something here for everyone. Using the finest of ingredients that include lemongrass, galangal root, and kaffir lime leaves, your taste buds will be dancing for joy at the savory flavors. Don't forget to try our famous deserts including Fried Ice Cream, Mango Sticky Rice, and delicious Fried Bananas.
